We kicked off the Christmas vacation with a baby shower for Lauren in Wyoming. Her baby Boy is due March 2nd (Gavin's birthday) and we are super excited to have a boy cousin! The theme of the shower was "Baby, It's Cold Outside" incorporating the winter season, blue for a boy, and Baby for obvious reasons. Linda and I turned into a cookie factory the night before, pumping out a variety of delicious cookies to accompany the gourmet hot chocolate and cider bar. Lauren and Melissa arrived the next day just in time for the shower. We had an amazing turn out, especially since it was the weekend before Christmas. It was so fun to be a part of the celebration!
The house looked beautifully decorated for the occasion.
As a party favor, each guest was given a mug with a bag of these snow covered pecan sandies tied with a snowflake on top.
The belly was the topic of conversation!

She and Rob got so many useful and needed baby things. Thanks to all who came to help celebrate and show how much Lauren and baby Boy are loved!
