This month we have definitely experienced the so called bi-polar weather of Colorado. Just one hour before I took this winter wonderland picture of the kids, I took the picture below. The winds blew in like in the movie Mary Poppins and the week long arctic blast began of record low temps well below zero. And then as fast as it came, we were back to sunny skies and shed our coats just in time for Mom and Dad and Jill and the girls to come visit.
Instead of 0 to 60, we went from 60 to 0!
The kids love the snow so they can get cold enough for hot chocolate!
Caught Gavin practicing before church.
Mom and Dad and Jill with the girls came to visit the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was so fun to have them here and show them around. The kids had a great time playing and as always it's fun to compare Evelyn and Raegan since they are only 2 weeks apart even though they look 2 months apart.
Then we all packed into the van for the drive over the Rockies to Utah for Thanksgiving. Yep, 3 adults, 5 carseats, 2 strollers, 1 wheelchair and luggage. After we made it through the blizzard, it was quite an enjoyable trip.
Everyone was there (minus Richard) and we had a wonderful time hanging out in Zach's new basement. So much fun in fact, that this is the only picture I took. The cousins had a blast playing and I basically didn't see my kids for days.
When we got home, Gavin was quite exhausted from the trip but at least found a comfortable place to rest.
