Raegan is five months old! At her appointment she weighed 11 lbs 6 oz (< 3rd %) and was 23 3/4 in (8th %) and her head was in the 50th %. So, she's still just a lil' thing. She's still wearing 0-3 month clothes! But despite her size, she has great head control and strong legs. She has really become alert and expressive this past month, babbling constantly. She's also drooling constantly. She has found her fingers and likes to gnaw on them most of the day. Unfortunately, she never seems to find those fingers to soothe her at night. In fact, Raegan's sleeping has really gone down hill this past month. I don't know if it was the holidays or traveling, but she has been waking up numerous times during the night needing her binkie and her naps aren't any better. The doctor suggested starting solids because she is so tiny which also will hopefully help with sleep. Fingers crossed. I am definitely ready for more sleep! Raegan loves to play on her jungle mat and picks up her rattle and other objects as she rolls around all over the floor. But what she loves most is being around people. She cries if she gets left alone in a room. She doesn't have to be held, just as long as she sees you, she's happy. She loves to smile and laugh and continues to be the sweetest babe.
Her eyes are starting to get a bit brown in the center.
If you squint, you can see her hair is starting to come in. It looks light brown for now.
Can barely get a picture without those fingers in her mouth!
Why can't she do this at night?
