Santa literally had his hands full this Christmas! There was officially no more room on his lap. But it was a good Santa experience this year with no crying or screaming! Ayden pulled some audibles during the visit unfortunately, especially since it was on Christmas Eve. But she didn't seem to care all that much the next morning with all the wonderful gifts under the tree. We spent a week in Wyoming with all the family home. This year we had an addition of 2 brother-in-laws and 2 new babies, so we are becoming quite the full house. It was great finally getting to know Rob and Jose who are perfect additions to the family. The week was packed full of fun activities and the best part was no one got sick! This is the first holiday in the last 3 that I did not end up in bed for a good portion of it. It was a Christmas miracle indeed!
Raegan was very interested in Santa's bell.
It was Maddie's first visit to Santa as well.
Our fun movie matinee this year was the Grinch. Not sure of the kids like the movie or all the yummy treats more.
Thank goodness the concession stand is bottomless.
We also decorated gingerbread houses. Ayden did a great job with her decorations and Gavin did an even better job eating them.
Gingerbread Village.
On Christmas Eve, Nana reads The Pajama Elves, which the kids enjoy every time.
And right on que, the Pajama Elves deliver again.
So excited to see what the Elves bring!
Cuddling up on PopPop's lap for a reading of The Night Before Christmas.
All the grandkids.
Well not quite...had to include in utero baby boy!
These girls are the cutest.
The kids were so excited. Ayden was up til 10 pm just thinking about Christmas day.
And this pic captures perfectly how Raegan feels about all the "loving" she gets from her siblings.
Everyone lined up on the stairs ready for the Christmas run.
It was a busy morning!
Gavin got lots of new books and toys.
Ayden got a play-doh dentistry set to practice her fillings and orthodontics.
The babies enjoyed staring at the lights from under the tree.
Linda set a beautiful Christmas table as usual and is so nice to include the crackers, which is a tradition of mine.
We had such a wonderful week with everyone and are so glad to be closer so we can all spend more time together.
