We had such a great time skiing Crested Butte last Spring Break, we did a repeat this year. It was even better this time around. Each time the kids get better and are more independent. There weren't very many people, the lines were short, and the weather was great. We got fresh snow every night and had warm days. Spring skiing is the best!
We spent a lot of time on the back of the mountain in the Blue bowl.
Crested Butte is a small mountain situated in and surrounded by other mountains which makes you feel like you are skiing in the mountains instead of the usual on a mountain. It's beautiful.
I love all the trees.
At the base of the mountain is the most delicious burger place which always tastes so good at lunch time.
Gavin found his own ice cubes.
Last time we stayed in a cabin in a small town away from Crested Butte. This time we stayed right on the slopes and it was incredible! We were the first ones on the slope and able to come back and take a break mid day. They had a locker for our skis outside by the slope so we just clicked on our skis and got on the lift.

Buggy made great progress this trip so we tried a black run and she did awesome.
Aislin's first black run.
There's such great food in Crested Butte. Secret Stash is a quirky pizza place on the main street in a very old building. It has a delicious fig pizza. We also ate yummy Asian food at Ryce. We always pick up a fresh loaf of sour dough from a local bakery.
This was taken on our last morning out the front door of our condo. The kids had beat me down to the slopes and had already done a run. What a great location!
We also hopped over to Utah for the weekend to help Zach move and hang out to celebrate his new house. It was a quick weekend but a productive and fun one!
