Oregon: Sand and Sea

We drove down to the shore line near Coos Bay to explore marine life in the rocks at low tide. It was a kids playground- so much to climb and discover.

Star fish were every where, big and small.

We also visited Shore Acres: a private estate formerly owned by a lumberman/shipbuilder in the early 1900's. He built a mansion and formal gardens over looking the Pacific.

The kids spent the afternoon playing in the stream leading into the ocean.

Climbing out on the rocks

We spent some time at the sand dunes which terminated into a lake.
The adventures are endless in Oregon.

They were huge. Do you see everyone at the top?

It took them a long time to climb up and not as long to run down.
