Kid Update

Life is getting so busy with these 3 kiddos that it's hard to keep up! But they are doing fun activities, learning lots, and growing fast! Here is a recap of the daily happenings around here.

Raegan really wants to be one of the big kids and actually does a good job of keeping up. She went through a phase where the towel on the head was the funniest thing ever. We called her Baby Mary.

She loves dressing up of any kind and the kids like dressing her up. Win, win.

And Mom gets to dress her in cute things as well.

I guess she doesn't like all costumes!

Classic pic in Mom's shoes.

Wanted to wear her hat like Dada.

Raegan also enjoys a variety of activities. She loves books and got comfy in Gavin's new booster seat for a quick read.

Raegan is such a smart girl. She has always had quite advanced social skills, picking up on ques and noticing everything around her. She understands everything that is said and now that she has become vocal, we love hearing her sweet voice.
She knows most of her ABC's now at 22 months and loves to practice her "C's"

She has become obsessed with talking to people on the phone. She kinda dominates conversations at this point. She even talks all day on her fake phone. This girl likes to talk! Looks like we are 3 for 3 on non-stop talkers. Dinners are a challenge these days.

And for such a little girl, she can pound the food! Getting every last drop of that full bowl of oatmeal, after downing 2 scrambled eggs and half a yogurt.

This is the cutest video.

Finally weighs enough to move up to a forward facing car seat and out of the infant carrier. She was so ready to look out the windows and see the world!
The Dr. was super pleased at her 19 month appointment where she is finally registering on the charts weighing 19 lbs 11 oz (10%) and height 30 in (2%). Her growth curve is much improved from this time last year when she was sick. She might be small, but she has a huge personality. Everyone can't get enough of this sweet girl, including her sass.

Somehow he gets tiny Raegan to push him around.

Gavin's first attempt at drawing a person. He was laughing the entire time, saying he knew it looked terrible.

Totally obsessed with trains! Every day he combines his different train tracks in a new way and adds other toys to make a terrain. He never tires of trains.

And this boy loves and is very good at puzzles. He put together this 60 piece puzzle with a complicated pattern all by himself.

Gavin enjoyed playing soccer and although he was the youngest on his team, he never stopped running.

And Nana and PopPop made it to his last game to see his gold medal.

Gavin has been working hard at home on his pre-school prep and is doing so well with writing and numbers. He's also turned into quite a big helper and a great big brother. He keeps us on our toes and gives us lots of loves. Turning 4 has definitely made him a big boy!

Ayden knee deep in the after-math of the blizzard.

Looks like we have snow termites.

And it also became very obvious that Ayden is quite allergic to penicillin. This was so sad. She was so scared by this rash and embarrassed. And unfortunately, it took about 3 weeks for it to go away. Now we know!

Ayden's Spring teacher conference was glowing, as usual. She is such a great student and a super smart girl!

We had the Meyer's join us for St. Patrick's Day dinner.

We've been enjoying swimming in the hotel pool during Patrick's Reserve weekends in Colorado Springs.

Ayden and Gavin play so well together. Ayden always finds a way to get Gavin to go along with her games but makes it fun for him too. They love to play "trains and dolls" or "trucks and fairies" where each of them can pretend with their favorite toy. They also love watching the Berenstain Bear short Halloween movies and have sections of it memorized. During breakfast one day, they decided to relive the movie.

She finally lost her front tooth!

Love these kiddos!
