Easter

We spent the Easter weekend at my parents house and Jill and Richard joined us as well. It was fun watching the kids dye eggs, hunt eggs, smash eggs, and eat eggs. Spending the holiday all together makes it much more fun!

Ayden was very dedicated this year to egg coloring.

Avery had a pretty good attention span as well.

Gavin enjoyed himself for a few minutes.

He colored so forcefully on this egg that he broke it. He has such a gentle touch.

Gavin had more fun playing with the fake grass in the basket than with the eggs, but Ayden was very protective of her hard work.

This is why Gavin could not be trusted with real eggs. The basket ended up on his head.

Thank goodness the Easter Bunny brought him a dump truck with plastic eggs in it.

He did, however, really enjoy finding the eggs.

Ayden did a great job as well. The bunny hid some a bit trickier this year and she found them all.

Jill and I have some eggs waiting to hatch too.
I'm 25 weeks and Jill is 28 weeks.

Ayden helped Dad make delicious deviled eggs.

I made an italian creme cake.

And it wouldn't be Easter Sunday with out some family pictures.

Gavin is the cutest and I love his eye color.

Everyone is looking at the camera so that makes it a good family shot!

My two precious girls.
