What Happened to May?

May zoomed by and we were busy! At the beginning of the month we first drove to Tally to pick up Avery, who stayed with us for 3 weeks while Jill and Richard enjoyed a much deserved trans-Atlantic cruise and trip to Europe. It was so much fun having her with us and definitely gave me much sympathy to those with twins! She and Gavin are 6 weeks apart and into everything! She had taken a few steps before coming but perfected her walking while she was here. The kids kept me on my toes! The second weekend was our 7 year anniversary and Mother's Day so we drove back to my parents to utilize the free and willing babysitters for a night out. And then last weekend we loaded all the kiddos up again and drove back down to Ft. Lauderdale to return Avery and attend Richard's graduation from medical school. It was a crazy fun month but nice to be back to normal.

Rub-a-dub-dub. 3 kids in the tub!

Milk in the mornings makes everyone happy.

 My little shopper!

After Richard's graduation, we drove to Tampa (where he will be doing his residency) to see the hospital, their new house, and go to Busch Gardens. My Dad also happened to be at a work conference there, so we stayed in his awesome hotel on the bay! Nice view!

We had tons of fun at the park. There's something for everyone. I finally was not pregnant so I was able to ride the incredible roller coasters. The kids area was heaven on earth for Ayden. And the zoo was fun for us all! I may just have to get us a season pass!

Splash zone! The Talbots were there for the celebrations and we had a great time together.

It's been wonderful spending time with everyone but this weekend we've enjoyed beach time with just our little family.

Gavin riding in the beach cart...the best invention ever.

Gavin was not too fond of the beach at first (like Ayden) but he warmed up to it quite quickly. It was fun watching him experiment and discover new things.

He did enjoy relaxing in Ayden's chair.

So, I took these pictures a long time ago but was too busy to post. Patrick's mom made another beautiful baby gown for Gavin, as she did for Ayden, like Patrick wore when he was a baby. It is such a special tradition and he looks precious, as always.

 Gavin's has blue stitching.

Ayden's has pink.
