Best Birthday!

Birthdays are getting less exciting the older I get but this year was the best ever! Mom and Dad came over the weekend before to celebrate. We did all the things I like to do: eat, shop, and chat. Then on my actual birthday (Monday), Patrick put on his uniform and kissed me goodbye as he does every morning. I fell back asleep waiting for the kids to wake up. Around 8am I was woken by Gavin but not on the monitor as usual. I heard him in the kitchen which was a bit alarming. As I walked out to see what was happening, Patrick surprised me with flowers, breakfast, and a written agenda for the day! I was totally surprised and overwhelmed by his thoughtfullness. Mondays are my cleaning and grocery shopping day which Patrick did himself instead. Yes, he even cleaned the bathrooms! We ate lunch at my favorite place and then I got an hour massage that Patrick arranged. I ran a few errands by myself and then had a nice dinner and opened cards and presents. Ayden was such a sweet girl giving me many hugs and kisses. She loves anyone's birthday. Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. It was the perfect day.
