The last day of our trip we spent at Versailles. I love this place and the surrounding gardens. It's amazing. After touring around, it's no wonder the starving people were angry.

The Hamlet
When Marie Antoinette tired of her rich life, she spent her days here pretending to be a peasant. She had a pretend village built, with servants who pretended to be poor people, as she frolicked about pretending to live a simpler life.
It really was the most picturesque place.
Of course, her peasant home included a ballroom, library, and two dining rooms...like most peasant homes.
She even had the animals sprayed with perfume so they wouldn't stink.
This is an interesting sheep cow thing.

And that concludes our trip! We had such a fantastic time. Thanks again to Jill, Mom, and Dad for watching the kiddos and taking such great care of them.

Oh my gosh, that pig! He is so funny. I want to live in that little pretend peasant home--that looks amazing. Those kings were so ridiculous.
