Paris-Part II

The weather continued to be beautiful and despite a few "social movements" (aka: strikes), we eventually got to see just about everything.

Notre Dame

 Gargoyle gutters and architecture.

View of gargoyles from the bell tower.

 Bell minus Quasimodo.

Nave with many windows thanks to the flying buttresses.

 Rose window.

Enjoying a delicious crepe lunch with an incredible view.

 Luxembourg Garden

Eating in Paris was reason alone to visit! We found a delectable bakery close by and enjoyed meals in the park.

There were the most amazing pastries, quiches, sandwiches, and bread on every corner. Why can't we replicate such things in America?

Need I say more?

 Orsay Museum

 Lourve

 Winged Victory

 Mona Lisa
(behind bullet proof glass)

stay tuned...

Flying buttresses is such a funny word. And yes, those raspberry tarts! What are those??

I want to go! I love the photos of the gargoyle, eating bagettes and ahhh… the pasteries!
