Missing Florida

So we got caught in the middle of the ice storm that has been making headlines. I've never seen anything like it. Every possible thing and surface was covered in ice. It really was quite beautiful. But my positive attitude soon turned sour as we lost power for 18 hours. Our house got very cold and being in the dark got old. Patrick's work was cancelled both days, so at least we got some good family time playing games and reading books. We have been extra thankful for electricity the last few days!

AYDEN UPDATE
Ayden is learning at lightening speed these days. Everyday she learns and uses new words. She is speaking in 3 word sentences and able to ask for what she wants instead of whining. She knows all her letters, some shapes, numbers, and is working on colors. It amazes me how smart she is and how much she observes. She still loves to read, dance, and sing with the hand motions. The ladies in nursery always comment on how independent she is and how much she eats! She also loves to play with all of Mommy's things. She'll put about 10 pairs of underwear over her head and look in the mirror and say: "ohhh, cute! This looks nice!"

I'm waiting for Lady Gaga to be wearing this outfit next!

We had the same thing happen a couple weeks ago. I have never seen it before and people were freaking out! Ayden looks so big, and so much like you!
I love that your fam got together for the chick-fil-A bowl and it was a surprise! I have got to do something fantastic like that someday! Hope you're having fun:)
