Our last stop in Italy (yes, this is finally the last Italy post) was beautiful Sorrento. It is close to Pompeii, so we decided to spend the afternoon. I wish we could've soaked it in a bit longer. It is a small but breathtaking town with amazing cliff views, quiet streets, old buildings, and delicious gelato. There is not much to do there but explore the tiny shops, relax, and enjoy the incredible view. And after being on the go constantly for the past 10 days, that's pretty much all we wanted to do anyways.
Patrick's lunch at a nice restaurant.
Since the cliffs are so steep into the water, there are no beaches. Instead, they built boardwalk beaches.
The water was very clear.
We had such a fantastic tour of Italy. Just blogging about it has made we want to return already. Thanks again to family who helped watch Ayden so we could go and not worry.
It was a trip of a lifetime!

Oh my gosh, this place is GORGEOUS! Everything looks amazing except there's a huge bug on Patrick's plate!! Did he notice?
I have enjoyed your blogging about Italy. Dennis and I were there many years ago and it brought back many memories - such an interesting place.
Love, Aunt Sharon
P.S. Ayden is a doll!
