We had another year of success with our pumpkins. This year we got twice as many pumpkins but they were smaller. But the kids didn't seem to mind.
One even escaped through the fence and we didn't even notice till it was harvest time. The peach trees grew so large this year, it's difficult to get around them.
There were 2 rounds of pumpkin harvest this year. I think we ended up with about 10.
Raegan's Real soccer team remained basically the same this season from last year. They were undefeated last year, so they moved up to the second highest division this year. I was worried it would be too challenging, but they won their season opening tournament! Looks like these girls are up for the challenge! Raegan loves playing soccer. She grew a ton as a player last year and is a great contributor to the team. She has a great time out there with her teammates.
The kids were allowed to pick their favorite piece to play for the Fall DEMTA Recital
Ayden watched the movie Titanic over the summer...numerous times, so she played:
My Heart Will Go On
Gavin loves playing fast pieces so he played:
Solfeggietto in C Minor by Bach
And this is him playing his recital piece as fast as possible...the way he likes it.
Gavin has been looking forward to middle school for many reasons and one of them was playing flag football. He tried out and made the 7th grade A team (out of A, B, and C teams) There was only one other 6th grader to make the highest team a 6th grader could make and that was Big Fat Ryan (standing with Gav on the sideline above) as the QB. The size discrepancy is something else. They called Gavin "Lightening McQueen" because of his speed. He had a blast playing. Their team made it to the semi finals but lost.
He was a running back
And he was the rusher
All the siblings flew home for a FSU home game. It was awesome.
FSU is undefeated this year.
We had all the Colorado cousins over for the FSU vs. Clemson game. Another win!
It was twin day at school and these girls were the cutest.
The girls ran the Digger Dash at school and were the winners once again!
This was Ayden's first Homecoming dance. She went with a big group of friends.
She's loving and excelling in high school.
Ayden had her first high school orchestra concert. Unfortunately, the new orchestra teacher would not let freshman try out for the audition orchestra, so she is trying to make the most out of being in Strings.
I sang with Laura and Whitney in church. The 3 of us sing together often.
Another Fall, another visit to Anderson Farms.
This year we went with the Taggart's.
The pumpkin patch pictures have really digressed over the years.
The kids always love racing the rubber duckies.
My friend Rebecca's son, Andrew, plays soccer for BYU. Their team got stuck in Denver due to bad weather, so they came back to her house and we went over for Gavin to meet the team. The guys were so nice to him and Gav was lovin it.
