There were quite a few of us home for Christmas this year, including Mom and Dad, so we all got together for Christmas Eve and Day festivities.
For Christmas Eve, I made some pork spare ribs, cheesy potatoes, a salad and topped it off with a turtle cheesecake. Earlier that morning, we met up with Matthew and his parents for the traditional Christmas Eve bowling. It was a great day.
The kids acted out the Nativity.
There was the reading of The Night Before Christmas.
I was really on top of Christmas this year so it wasn't too bad of a night.
The kids waiting on the stairs for the Christmas bell and dash.
And they're off!
Santa got them an electric scooter!
Raegan made replicas of Poppy's favorite candy bars. She's quite the crafty one.
Aislin makes a beautiful Anna.
Raegan got a polaroid camera.
Aislin drew Mimi a picture, crutches and all.
I do love having the tree up. It really warms up the room.
After Christmas, both Zach and Garrett's families came over. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible so it turned into quite the ordeal coming and going, but we had a great time while they were here.
We even went to Great Wolf Lodge. The kids had a blast on the big slides and even the little ones.
