Moab II

We had so much fun the first time around in Moab we went back again over Fall break. We rented a house with the Barber's this time and got ourselves some Jeeps!

We tried to go to Canyonlands but the line was so long to get in we decided to hike on our own. We found some cool canyons and arches.

It was a loooong ways down.

The split in this rock went all the way down.

The rocks had really interesting striations.

Then we hiked in the bottom of a canyon to a cool waterfall and grotto.

We had to get creative crossing the stream a few times to keep our shoes dry.

We rented jacked up Jeeps and hit the trails.

We found these deep caves in the sides of the buttes.

More steep rocks up and down but the Jeeps had no problem. It made the ride a lot less stressful and more about strategy.

I hogged the wheel last trip so Patrick got behind the wheel this time.

Arches everywhere!

Amazing view of Moab and the river.

We came across some huge caves.

Inside the cave.

Ended the trip with a massage train at the pizza place.
Another fun weekend!
