We started Spring Break week off with making 381 rainbow cookies for St. Patrick's Day. It ended up being a huge blizzard (bomb cyclone) so the kids were home to help. Ayden was diligent and shaped and placed all the cookies on the sheets.
It only snowed 7 inches but the winds were 75 mph and made crazy drifts. We had no snow on our driveway but it was 4 ft high down the street.
And it was about 4 ft high on the side of the house. Needless to say, the kids had a lot of fun playing in it.
The kids and I drove over to Utah to hang with the cousins, watch Cambrie's play, celebrate some birthdays, and attend Vallen's baptism. We also helped Zach finish up the end of his amazing house reno and get moved back in. It was a very busy week.
Cambrie did an incredible job as the lead in her school musical. Anistyn was also a dancer in the play. The kids loved watching.
We hit up the BYU Creamery
Zach and Garrett have gotten into competitive Cross Fit. They have become part of quite a community. The Cross Fit Olympic trial competition (lasts 5 weeks) was just wrapping up when we were there. We got to watch and support 2 of the last workouts. It was super intense. They both did awesome (especially since they haven't been doing it long). Zach ended up ranking 76th in the entire world...the entire WORLD! Not surprising really. He has an insane ability to push himself beyond human limits. So, that got him an invite to the Cross Fit Olympics. Pretty cool.
Since the big 4-0 is comin up, we threw a surprise birthday party for Zach to celebrate all together.
It was a crazy but fun-filled week!
