Jill and Richard moved here in June and while they were figuring things out here with a new job and selling their house in Florida, they stayed with us. It made for a very fun summer and had lots of perks.
We ate breakfast together.
We had lunch together.
And dinner together.
Jill and I took turns making dinners for the week. It was a brilliant plan. One week on, one week off and an entire new variety of meals.

Another nice perk was an instant babysitter. We never had to take our kids to the store and Jill and Richard even bought us a weekend get-a-way up in the mountains.
They were the best house guests and the kids had such a great time together. We moved into our new house the same weekend they moved into their rental. The kids didn't even make it a day before asking to play with their cousins. Thank goodness they are only 10 minutes away!
