Finally to Florida

 The kids and I had a trip planned to Florida for spring break. Unfortunately, that also ended up being the worst blizzard in Denver in the last 10 years. It wasn't so bad when we got up at 4 am and the flight still said it was "on time" so we hauled everyone up to the airport, hoping our early flight could take off before the conditions got too bad. Wrong. After 14 hours of on the plane, off the plane, switch flights, cancelled flights, refund of the flight, and standing in lines for over 6 hours with 3 kids by myself, it didn't happen. And they broke my stroller to boot even though we never even went anywhere. The kids were actually quite good considering. But it was definitely one of the more exhausting days in my memory. Patrick had it no easier has he got stuck in the snow driving home after they closed all the interstates and had to walk home in blizzard conditions. After trying to dig his car out for hours to be able to come get us from the airport, a truck finally pulled him out. However, the roads were not plowed because even the plows couldn't drive on the roads, we once again got stuck on the way home and carried the kids home. And we were all in flip flops because we were on our way to sunny Florida. 

Needless to say, the kids were devastated so I rebooked our trip for a few weeks later and this time it actually happened.

 I got to meet my new nephew, Seth.

And Ayden got to hold him too.

 We wanted this trip to be all about the kids so Jill had tons of fun things planned. We hit the YMCA pool. 

 Jill somehow managed to get Raegan's 3 hairs into pigtails.

 We had a fun picnic and played at the splash pad.

 Such a lady.

 We enjoyed ice cream by the bay.

Movie and popcorn.

 We celebrated the April birthdays.

 We took the kids to the aquarium.

 And we ate HUGE pizza at this really delicious downtown pizza parlor.

 We made rainbow rice crispie treats with leftover Easter peeps.

 And then to add more fun, the boys and Anistyn joined us for a day before heading to the FSU spring game. We all got together to watch Dad swim with the sharks at the aquarium.

 Then before we headed to Tally, we had a wonderful patio dinner and played at the park.

While in Tally, I met up with Cheyney and the Webb's and had such a great time catching up.

It was one of the best visits ever. The kids all had such a fun time playing together and spending time with family.
