Last of Summer

We had an action packed summer, as it is quite brief here. I flew alone with the kiddos to Florida to visit Jill and my parents. The kids actually did really well and since it was a non-stop flight, it wasn't too torturous.

We stayed at Jill's for a few days...

and then drove up to Tally. The kids loved swimming at the Meyer's pool.

and finally the kids were old enough to be excited about the lawn mower ride instead of scared!

Needless to say, we were all sad to leave.

Gavin has finally shown some interest in art.

Another cart pic from the commissary but now Raegan is included!

We enjoyed the Parker party in the park where there were emergency vehicles to explore.

Gavin was in heaven.

And a Princess sing-a-long. They were actually quite impressive.

And Gavin was again in heaven after a hug from Ariel.
He actually couldn't contain himself and busted out of the line for this solid embrace!

And we bought a house this summer!
We are building, so it won't be completed until early next summer but we are very excited to own a home and stay put!

This is our spectacular view from our lot of the beautiful Rocky mountains. The neighborhood stands on the highest point in Parker where you can see the skyline of downtown Denver all the way south to Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs with all the mountains in between. It'll be wonderful to wake up and feel like we actually live in Colorado!
