Easter

This was the first Easter we have ever spent alone as just our little family. Although we missed having others around, it still was fun watching the kids be excited. Both Ayden and Gavin really enjoyed the dying and hunting of eggs and we were also able to explain and celebrate the true meaning of Easter with Conference all weekend long. The kids are at perfect ages for anticipation and enthusiasm about holidays. It was another good one!

The neighborhood held a Easter egg hunt Saturday morning with a million eggs and about a million kids. It was a beautiful, sunny day and after it was over, the entire neighborhood stayed and played at the park. It was a fun morning.

That evening we dyed eggs. I used food coloring this year which made for much prettier eggs than using the egg dye kits.

I didn't help much this year and the kids did a great job.

The Easter Bunny left a note with instructions since some eggs were more difficult to find than others.

Happy Easter!
