Home Sweet Home

We are finally here! Well, we've been here for almost a month now but finally settled. After the movers packed up in Ohio, we drove down to my parents house in a single day. We then spent the weekend there and then drove the 2 hours to Panama City, where Patrick had to start work. We stayed in a hotel on the base for a few days waiting for our house to be ready and our belongings to arrive. Thankfully, Patrick was given a couple days off to help unpack which made it much faster. Ayden and I then spent the next few days visiting Jill and Richard down in Miami and then came home to more unpacking. My parents came over during the Labor Day weekend to help paint the bedrooms (which were blue and purple) and do other things. We finally got internet a few days ago, there are no more boxes in the house, and all the pictures are on the walls. I guess this means it's official.

We are enjoying living in a house, sharing no walls, where Ayden can jump and play. She loves playing with Dada in the yard everyday after work. We are on a cul-de-sac, so there's no traffic. We are super close to the beach and see the water just running errands around town. Patrick is enjoying the clinic and his new coworkers. We are already optimizing the proximity to home and are visiting this weekend. Mom and Dad have stopped by for lunch just because. We have plenty of space here and welcome all who want to visit!
