Ok, so this is the last post that includes the Colosseum. On our last night in Rome I really wanted to put the camera to the test and capture this spectacular structure against the dark sky. The dramatic contrast between the harsh stone architecture and soft lighting made for some great photos. Obviously, I just couldn't get enough.

Love your Italy pictures! especially the ones of Venice. Hope everything in Ohio is fabulous, and you survived your move;) it is a lot of work telling those movers where to put your stuff ha! ha! I only say that because we are insanely jealous that you had mover men and we didn't...maybe we should join the military now so we won't have to move ourselves in a year!
