Aislin was and always is excited for her birthday. Since she is the youngest in her grade, she is always eager to turn the same age that all her peers have been for a year. Aislin has really come out of her shell this year. She is telling jokes, being a little more silly and outgoing, participates in class discussions, and has opinions. She's had some drama with friends and some crushes on boys. She still is a total rule follower and a good listener at home. I can always count on her to do what I ask. She plays independently so well and is a very low maintenance child. She and Raegan are buddies and she is Gavin's football and wrestling pal. She loves to look pretty and curl her hair. She continues to excel in school and has gotten more aggressive on the soccer field. She has caught on to piano very quickly and is flying through her piano books. Her love for ice cream continues and we continue to love Buggy!
It's not a birthday without the birthday pancake!
For her 7th birthday, she wanted ice cream with sprinkles and dinner at Chick-fil-a.
She asked for new clothes for her birthday. She wanted flare pants and new shirts. She also expanded her Squishmallow collection. Aislin has been asking to get her ears pierced since kindergarten and I felt she was old enough to take on that responsibility, so she was excited to finally get them done.
She had no fear or hesitation. Not a single tear shed. She was ready!
Pretty pink hearts. She loved them.
