Every year the older kids participate in DEMTA Festival, a piano competition where they are assigned 2 pieces to learn and memorize and then perform privately in front of a judge. They are then scored and if their performance was a stand out above their peers, they are extended an invitation to showcase their piece at the Honors concert.

Ayden received a 1- the highest score (for the 4th year in a row)
Gavin performed Ivan Sings
White Heat
Gavin received a 1- for the second year in a row and was invited to play Ivan Sings at the Honors concert.
