Breck in the Spring

We took advantage of a long weekend off of school and hit up Breck for the last ski trip of the season. We got lucky and it snowed right before we got there so we had some nice fluffy snow. The weather was a bit sporadic the first day but it didn't get bad until it was closing time.

We headed up to Peak 6 at the summit of the mountain where the snow was the best. The runs were challenging but everyone went for it. Our legs were burning! Buggy kept up no problem! She kept getting comments from other adults that she was a "little shredder" and "a rock star" and she sure was!

It was awesome skiing in the bowls above the tree line.

We stayed in another great place near downtown. It had this very convenient foyer to drop your skis and boots and a place to put them on/off. So nice.

It was right on the river and the sounds of the water and watching the snow fall was magical.

The kids loved sleeping and playing in the loft.

This soup place was amazing.

The next day was warm with blue skies. The perfect spring skiing day.

We loved skiing this black run.

There are so many trees on Peak 6, including this crazy one.

And that's a wrap for the season. Each year just keeps getting better!
