Happy 4th Birthday Aislin!
My baby is no longer a toddler.
Although bittersweet, Aislin continues to be a delight to have around. She is confident and independent and funny. She's a little silly, sometimes whiny, and often sweet. She is a Daddy's girl through and through. She is super competitive and always wants to be the best. This has made teaching her in preschool pretty easy. She is learning how to read and doing well with the Bob books. She loves being like the big kids. And every year, she's becoming one.
She absolutely loves chocolate, which none of the other kids cared for at her age. So, I made her a cookies and cream cake with a chocolate sponge (with crushed oreos as a substitute for some flour), a chocolate ganache filling with oreo pieces in between the six layers, and a cookies and cream icing. It was maybe one of the best cakes I've made.
Six layers of chocolate.
The Talbot's came over to celebrate.
Happy Birthday Buggy!
