Moab

We met up with Zach and fam in Moab for a long weekend of outdoor adventures. The Barber's always push us weenie Reilly's to do things we wouldn't normally do and it always turns out to be a blast- once we know we will live to see another day. So off we went to hike and do some off roading.

The drive there was breath taking.

We stayed at the KOA in a cabin next to Zach in his pop-up trailer and toy hauler.

We had AC and a bathroom across the way. This is as much camping as I like to do. The kids had fun running around the grounds and playing in the pool.

We had tailgate McDonalds for breakfast and were on our way.

We hiked to an arch and saw interesting rock formations along the way.

Zach's strength comes through again.

It was hooooot out there!

The boys off roaded with their remote controlled trucks.

We went to Arches National Park in the afternoon and hiked to the Delicate arch at sunset.

Family pic under the arch.

Ready in our van ATV.

Barber's lookin cool on their 4-wheelers.

I was pooping my pants. The kids were loving it.

Off roading was totally different than I expected. I thought it would be driving fast over dirt hills but it was slowly climbing over huge rocks and down steep cliffs. We all were in the wrong vehicles for this experience. Next time we will get Jeeps. But we could definitely see the potential and we had fun anyways.
