This was a month of big changes for Raegan! At her growth check she weighed 15 lb 13 oz and was 26 inches long. That's a gain of over 2 lbs and 2 inches in only 6 weeks! Good growing Raegan! The Dr. was very surprised and extremely happy. Her iron levels were up as well and her head size above average. The report could not have been better. She's had a great appetite and absolutely LOVES table food. I figured she wasn't going to gain much off of baby food veggie and fruit purees, so I tried some table foods and she was able to handle them just fine. That way I was able to get in more protein, carbs, and some dairy. She also started pulling herself up and cruising around the furniture. She can transfer from one place to another and also bend down and pick things up. She's on the move! Raegan has also developed definite opinions this month and has taken her pterodactyl scream to the next level. If she is hungry, it's non-stop short screams until she is given what she wants. She's also started playing more games and interacting more in a playful way. She talks constantly and tries to tell us things. She points and babbles on and on. Looks like yet another kid with a lot to say!
She is a great eater and has enjoyed the variety of foods thus far.
She never has trouble clearing her plate.
Sad that the meal has to end.
Discovering she can pull herself up to stand.
Hey Mom, now I can play in my crib!
Sturdy enough to sit in the tub without me being too worried.
