After spending a lot of time indoors unpacking and getting settled, we decided to take a day and explore the beauty of Colorado. We drove down to Colorado Springs to visit the Garden of the Gods. It's a beautiful park with huge red rocks that randomly shoot out of the ground. The kids had a blast climbing, running, and getting dirty. The weather was perfect and the sun was rejuvenating.

The kids never tired of climbing. Gavin was in heaven.
There were numerous trails, some even paved.
